Orbit Mobile eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

Orbit Mobile does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. All of its East Asia eSIM plans have a data cap. The provider offers fixed‑data plans that cover many East Asian countries. For example, the 100GB Global Pass is valid for 365 days and costs $120, while the 50GB Global Pass is valid for 60 days and costs $72. These plans can be more economical for most travelers unless they need truly unlimited usage.

Orbit Mobile does not offer East Asia eSIM plans with a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available for East Asia. Travelers can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages without needing a local phone number or SMS service.

Orbit Mobile offers three eSIM plans that include coverage in East Asian countries. The Global Pass provides connectivity in Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and extends to a wide array of other regions worldwide. The Asia Pass covers China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, with additional availability in a number of other countries.
