Roamable eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

Roamable does not offer any unlimited data eSIM plans for East Asia. Travelers can choose from fixed‑data options such as the Asia‑20 50GB 180 days plan, which gives 50GB of high‑speed data over 180 days, or the Asia (12 areas) 20GB 30 days plan, which provides 20GB for 30 days. These examples represent only some of the available fixed‑data plans and are not an exhaustive list. Selecting a fixed‑data plan may be more cost‑effective for most users, while heavy data consumers who require unlimited usage would need to look beyond Roamable’s current East Asia offerings.

Roamable does not provide East Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The only East Asia offerings from Roamable are data‑only eSIM plans. Travelers who need voice or text can use VoIP solutions such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages.

Roamable’s East‑Asian coverage is consistent across most of its offerings. The “Asia (12 areas)” plan includes China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macau and Taiwan; “Asia-20” covers China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Macau, omitting Taiwan; the expanded “Asia (20 areas)” plan adds Taiwan back into its East‑Asian roster, covering China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macau and Taiwan; the “Global (120+ areas)” plan likewise lists China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macau and Taiwan as its East‑Asian coverage; finally “Global139” also includes the same six countries within the region. Mongolia is not mentioned in any of Roamable’s plans.
