Soracom Mobile eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

Soracom Mobile does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. All plans listed under the Asia Pacific region are fixed‑data packages with caps of 10 GB, 5 GB, or 3 GB for a 30‑day validity period. Travelers who need larger data allowances can choose from these fixed plans; for example, the 10 GB variant (priced at $89.99 USD) or the 5 GB variant (priced at $46.99 USD) offer relatively generous data limits. While these packages are not unlimited, they can be more cost‑effective for users whose data consumption is moderate, whereas hugely heavy users would need to purchase multiple packages or seek an alternative service.

Soracom Mobile does not provide an East Asia eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All Soracom Mobile eSIM offerings for the East Asia region are data‑only. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging.

Soracom Mobile eSIM plans offer coverage in several East Asian countries. The Asia Pacific 15 plan includes coverage in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, and Japan. The Asia Pacific 18 plan expands coverage to also include China, in addition to the countries covered by the Asia Pacific 15 plan.
