Textr eSIM does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. All of the plans listed are fixed‑data packages with caps of 3GB, 5GB, or 10GB and a validity of 30 days. For example, the Asia‑Pacific Plus 10GB plan delivers 10GB of data for 30 days at $75.90 USD and covers China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Macau, Taiwan, and 13 additional countries. The Global 10GB plan also offers 10GB for 30 days at $169.90 USD and extends coverage to 126 countries.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost effective unless the traveler needs an extremely large amount of data. Fixed plans such as the Asia‑Pacific Plus 5GB ($37.95 USD) or the Global 5GB ($84.95 USD) provide substantial data allowances for a set price, giving travelers clarity on the amount of high‑speed internet they will receive during their stay.

Textr eSIM does not offer East Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number and SMS capability. The provider only provides data‑only eSIM plans for East Asia.
