Tourist eSIM does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. All listed plans contain finite data caps, such as 2 GB or 3 GB per day for the unlimited‑named plans, after which the speed is reduced to 2000 kbps or 1000 kbps. If a large data allowance is required, fixed high‑cap plans can be considered, for example the 100 GB plan valid for 30 days or the 100 GB plan valid for 180 days, both of which offer consistent high‑speed data without throttling. Choosing a fixed data plan is often more cost‑effective for heavy data users than the capped “unlimited” options.
