Yatelo eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

Yatelo does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for East Asia. Travelers who need a larger supply of data can choose from its fixed data plans, such as the GLB 20GB 30‑day plan and the GLB 10GB 30‑day plan, each offering a substantial allowance over a full month of validity. These plans are generally more cost‑effective for most users, unless a traveler requires very high data usage that would exceed the fixed limits.

Yatelo does not offer East Asia eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only supplies data‑only eSIM plans for East Asia, so inbound or outbound calls and text messages are not possible through a traditional phone number.

Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the delivered data connection. These services work through the data plan and replace the need for a local phone number or SMS functionality.

Yatelo’s ASI plans provide East‑Asian coverage in China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macau and Taiwan—although one of the ASI variants excludes Macau. The GLB plan covers the same East‑Asian countries and adds Mongolia. Both the ASI and GLB packages also include additional regions outside East Asia, but those destinations are not listed here.
