Yesim eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

Yesim provides several unlimited data eSIM options that cover East Asia, covering countries such as China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macau, and Taiwan. The unlimited plans are available in a range of validity periods—from as short as 1 day up to 60 days—and their prices span from about $7.85 USD for a single‑day pass to $167.13 USD for a 60‑day plan. All of these plans allow tethering and are marketed as unlimited, but speeds may be throttled after heavy usage.

Because unlimited data plans are subject to a Fair Usage Policy, speeds can be reduced once a traveller has used a large amount of data. If a traveler wants to confirm how much data can be used at normal speed or whether a particular FUP limit applies, they should contact Yesim directly for the most up‑to‑date details.

Yesim does not offer East Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need to receive calls or text messages can rely on data‑only eSIMs and use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection. However, access to these apps may be restricted or blocked in some destinations, so users should verify that the services they rely on are available in East Asia before purchasing a plan.

Yesim offers three eSIM plans that include East Asian coverage: the Asia Pacific plan, the Global Plus Package, and the Global Package. Each of these plans covers China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macau, and Taiwan. While the plans also extend to other regions, the East Asian coverage remains consistent across all three.
