ZenSim eSIM Data Plans for East Asia

ZenSim does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. All of the plans listed as “Unlimited” in their name provide a fixed data amount of 3GB per day; speeds are reduced after this daily quota is reached, so these are not unlimited high‑speed data plans.

Travelers who need large amounts of data can instead choose ZenSim’s fixed‑data plans. For example, the 40GB plan is valid for 30 days and the 20GB plan is valid for 15 days or 30 days, both of which include the same coverage across China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and ten additional countries. These fixed‑data options are typically more cost‑effective for users who plan to consume data heavily during their stay.

ZenSim does not provide an East Asia eSIM that includes a phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. The provider only offers data‑only eSIM plans for this region.

Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice and text communication, but no traditional phone number or SMS service is available through ZenSim in East Asia.

ZenSim’s “Asia+ –” eSIM plan provides coverage in the East Asian countries of China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, while it also extends to other regions outside the East Asian list.
