mobineX eSIM Data Plans for Latin America (LATAM)

MobineX does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Latin America. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name are actually capped at 1 GB or 5 GB of high‑speed data; after that the speed drops to 128 kbps or 1 024 kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose fixed‑data plans instead. For example, mobineX offers a 100 GB plan that is valid for 60 days, or a 50 GB plan that is valid for 30 days, both of which cover the same LATAM destinations as the capped offers. These fixed plans can be more cost effective for most users unless extremely heavy data usage is expected.

MobineX does not provide eSIM plans for Latin America (LATAM) that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered in that region. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection offered by the eSIM, to make calls and send messages.

MobineX offers a single eSIM plan, “Unlimited Standard”, for Latin American travellers. For the LATAM region the plan covers Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Venezuela. In addition to these Latin American countries, the same plan also provides coverage in other regions around the world, though those areas are outside the scope of this FAQ.
