Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited‑data plan for Latin America (LATAM). All of its LATAM‑specific offerings contain a fixed data allowance—most commonly 2GB per day for 1‑30‑day plans or 3GB per day for shorter 3‑10‑day plans—and the speed is throttled to 2000kbps or 1000kbps once the limit is reached.

If an unlimited‑capacity plan is required, Travelers can select a fixed data plan instead. For example, the 100GB 31‑day plan priced at $68.28 USD or the 80GB 365‑day plan priced at $175.72 USD provide large data allowances for extended stays in LATAM. These options are fully available for users who need substantial data without the daily cap.

Tourist eSIM does not provide eSIM plans with a phone number or SMS capability for Latin America (LATAM). Only data‑only plans are offered, so travelers cannot receive or send regular SMS messages or receive a local phone number. However, VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage work over the data connection and can be used for calls and messaging without a phone number or SMS support.
