Tourist eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Latin America (LATAM)

Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Latin America (LATAM).
The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their names are actually capped at 1–3 GB. For example, the Latin America 3 Days Unlimited plan supplies 3 GB of high‑speed data for 3 days and then reduces the speed to 1000 kbps, while the Latin America 5 Days Unlimited plan offers the same 3 GB for 5 days before throttling.

If you need more data, Tourist eSIM offers fixed‑data alternatives. A widely used option is the Global 31 Days 100 GB plan, which gives 100 GB of full‑speed data for 31 days. Fixed‑data plans can be more economical and predictable for travelers who expect to consume large amounts of data.

Tourist eSIM does not provide eSIM plans with a phone number or SMS capability for Latin America (LATAM). Only data‑only plans are offered, so travelers cannot receive or send regular SMS messages or receive a local phone number. However, VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage work over the data connection and can be used for calls and messaging without a phone number or SMS support.

All other plans listed by Tourist eSIM that feature Latin‑American coverage are consistent with these country lists, and no plan subset excludes any of the above countries from their Latin‑American service area.
