Giga.Tel eSIM Data Plans for Nordic countries

Giga.Tel does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic or Swedish travelers. The plans that include “Unlimited” in their name actually offer 1 GB of high‑speed data per day; once that daily allowance is exceeded the speed is throttled to 512 kbps.

Instead, Giga.Tel offers fixed‑data options that can be more cost‑effective for heavier users. For example, a 7‑day plan delivers 50 GB of data with a reduced speed of 128 kbps after the high‑speed limit is reached. Another 15‑day plan provides the same 50 GB allowance. Both plans cover the Nordics and include the same broader European coverage as the “Unlimited” plans.

Giga.Tel does not offer Nordic eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only supplies data‑only eSIM options in that region.
Travelers who need voice or messaging services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, which provide calling and texting without a local phone number.

All of Giga.Tel’s eSIM offerings that list a “Nordic” coverage include the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. None of the plans extend coverage to other Nordic territories; the only other regions the plans reach are those listed under “Other Regions covered, ” which are not part of the Nordic group.
