nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Nordic countries

NextSIM does not provide truly unlimited data plans for the Nordic region. The plans called “Unlimited” actually grant 1 GB or 2 GB per day and after the threshold is reached the connection is throttled to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose from fixed‑data offers. For example, nextSIM sells a 50 GB plan valid for 365 days, or a 50 GB plan valid for 30 days; both give consistent high‑speed data throughout the validity period. These alternatives may be more cost‑effective for users who consume large amounts of data.

nextSIM does not provide a Nordic eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are offered for the Nordic region, so travelers cannot receive or make traditional voice calls or send SMS messages through the local network.

To communicate while abroad, users can rely on data‑based VoIP and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage. These applications use the data connection and allow voice and text communication without requiring a local phone number or SMS service.

nextSIM’s Nordic‑region coverage appears on several of its plans – the eSIM EUROPE Economy, eSIM Unlimited Standard Europe+, eSIM EUROPE Premium, eSIM Unlimited Standard Global, eSIM GLOBAL Premium, eSIM GLOBAL Economy, eSIM Unlimited Plus Global and eSIM GLOBAL Economy – and in each of these plans the explicitly listed Nordic countries are Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Plans that include other regions also cover additional territories, but those are outside the requested Nordic set.
