nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Nordic countries

nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Nordic travellers. All of the plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name are actually capped, offering 1 GB per day or 2 GB per day and then reducing speed to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps once the limit is exceeded. Because the data allowance is limited, these plans are not the same as a plan that would give unlimited high‑speed data.

Travelers who need larger, uninterrupted data allowances can choose from fixed‑data plans such as the eSIM GLOBAL 50GB 365Days Economy plan, which offers 50 GB for a full year, or other “Premium” options that provide 30 GB or 40 GB for 30 days. Selecting a fixed‑data plan can be more cost effective for heavy data users, while the “Unlimited” plans may suit those who expect only a modest amount of data usage.

nextSIM does not provide a Nordic eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are offered for the Nordic region, so travelers cannot receive or make traditional voice calls or send SMS messages through the local network.

To communicate while abroad, users can rely on data‑based VoIP and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage. These applications use the data connection and allow voice and text communication without requiring a local phone number or SMS service.

All eSIM plans from nextSIM that list coverage in the Nordic region include Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. These five countries appear in every plan – from eSIM EUROPE Economy through to eSIM GLOBAL Premium, eSIM Unlimited Standard Global, eSIM Unlimited Plus Global, and eSIM GLOBAL Economy – and are therefore covered by all of nextSIM’s Nordic‑listed eSIM offerings.
