Ovosim eSIM Data Plans for Nordic countries

Ovosim does not provide truly unlimited high‑speed data plans for the Nordic region. All of its Nordic offerings specify a data cap, such as 3GB per day or 5GB per day, even if the plan name contains the word “Unlimited.” After the allotted daily amount is reached the speed would be throttled, though the reduced speed is not listed for these plans.

Instead, Ovosim offers a range of fixed‑data packages. For example, a 20GB plan is available for 5 days or 10 days, and larger bundles such as 100GB for 180 days are also offered. These fixed‑data plans can be more cost‑effective, especially for travelers who do not need very high daily data usage.

Ovosim does not provide a Nordic eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIM plans for the Nordic region. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection.

Ovosim offers two plans that cover all five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The Europe+ plan includes the five Nordic nations and extends to many other European countries, while the Global plan likewise includes the five Nordic countries and provides worldwide coverage.
