Travelers who need more data can choose from the fixed‑data options that eSIMCard offers, such as the 100GB plan for 30 days that remains unthrottled or the 1GB/day plan for 30 days in North America, which can be more cost‑effective unless an extremely heavy data consumer is required.

eSIMCard does not provide an eSIM with a local phone number or SMS capability for North America; its North American offering consists solely of data‑only plans. Travelers can still communicate using internet‑based apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which operate over the data connection without requiring a traditional phone number or SMS service.
