EtravelSIM eSIM Data Plans for North America

EtravelSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for North America. The plans labeled “North America eSIM Unlimited” actually give a data cap of 2GB per day; after that cap is reached, the speed is reduced to 2048kbps. This means high‑speed data is not unlimited.

If a traveler needs more data, EtravelSIM offers fixed‑data options such as a 50GB plan valid for 30 days or a 20GB plan for the same period. These plans provide larger data allowances without a daily cap, which can be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

EtravelSIM does not offer North America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for this region.

While a traditional phone number is not provided, travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages.

EtravelSIM offers several plans that include North American coverage. The North America eSIM plan covers Canada, Mexico, and the United States of America; the Global Explorer Pass likewise covers Canada and the United States of America; the Seafarer eSIM (180 countries) covers Canada, Mexico, and the United States of America; and Global Flex 365 eSIM covers Canada, Mexico, and the United States of America. While the Global Explorer Pass, Seafarer eSIM, and Global Flex 365 eSIM all include additional coverage in regions around the world, the North American coverage for each of these plans is limited to the three approved countries listed above.
