Yatelo eSIM Data Plans for North America

Yatelo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for North America. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually give a fixed data allowance of 3GB; after that amount the speed is reduced to 1000kbps, so the data is not unlimited.

Travelers who need more data can choose from Yatelo’s fixed data plans that offer larger caps, such as the 50GB 30 days plan or the 20GB 30 days plan. Both plans are valid for 30 days, cover Canada, Mexico, and the United States of America, and provide high‑speed 5G data until the data allowance is used up. These options are typically more cost‑effective for most users.

Yatelo does not offer an eSIM plan for North America that includes a local phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. All of Yatelo’s North American eSIMs are data‑only, so travelers who need voice or text services must use third‑party VoIP applications that operate over the data connection.

Popular messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage can generally be used over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP services. Travelers should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in North America before purchasing a Yatelo eSIM.

The NMR plan provides coverage for Canada, Mexico and the United States of America, while the GLB plan covers the same three countries in addition to Bermuda and Greenland. No other Yatelo plans include any additional North American territories from the approved list.
