GLOBAL YO does not provide an unlimited‑data eSIM for North America. All available North‑America plans have fixed data caps, with the largest cap currently being 100 GB. For example, the “North America Explorer – 60 Days – 100 GB” plan lets a user use 100 GB of high‑speed data over 60 days, and the “Global Explorer 100 – 365 Days – 100 GB” plan offers the same 100 GB over 365 days. Both plans also include tethering rights.

Since the data allowance is capped, a fixed‑data plan can be more economical for most travelers than a pay‑as‑you‑go option, especially for moderate or high data usage. If you need a larger or longer‑lasting data bundle, a plan such as the 150‑day, 100 GB “Global Explorer 150” (available in Canada, Mexico and the United States) may also be an appropriate alternative.

GLOBAL YO does not offer North America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s North America offerings are data‑only, so travelers who need a local phone number for calls or SMS must rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, provided those services are available and not restricted in the specific destination.
