Ovosim eSIM Data Plans for Scandinavia

Ovosim does not provide truly unlimited high‑speed data for Scandinavia. The plans that carry the name “Unlimited” actually grant a daily data allowance of 2 GB, 3 GB or 5 GB and, once that limit is reached, the network speed is throttled; the reduced speed is not listed in the data provided.

Instead, Ovosim offers fixed‑data eSIM plans that cover Scandinavia, such as a 20 GB plan valid for 5 days or 10 days and a 102 GB plan valid for 180 days. Because these plans provide a set amount of high‑speed data without a daily cap, they can be more cost effective for travelers who anticipate heavy use.

Ovosim does not provide an eSIM for Scandinavia that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The available plans from Ovosim are data‑only and do not support inbound or outbound voice or text messaging. Travelers who rely on a phone number or SMS will need to seek another provider for those services.

Even without a phone number or SMS, users can still communicate over Scandinavia by using voice and messaging applications that operate over the data connection, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage. These VoIP apps work over the high‑speed data supplied by the Ovosim eSIM and allow calls and messages without a traditional telephone number.

Ovosim’s eSIM plans that cover Scandinavia are the Europe+ and Global options, each of which includes Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Both plans also provide coverage in additional regions, but the Scandinavian coverage is the same across the two offerings.
