BNESIM eSIM Data Plans for South America

BNESIM does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for South America. The agency’s catalog contains only fixed‑data packages that cover the region. For instance, the Surf 20GB plan gives 20GB of data for 30 days and another 20GB plan offers the same allowance with unlimited validity. The Surf 10GB plan supplies 10GB of data for 30 days. These fixed‑data options allow travelers to choose a sizeable data allowance, but they are not unlimited. Selecting a fixed‑data plan is usually more cost‑effective unless a user expects extremely heavy data usage, in which case an alternative carrier with a true unlimited plan would be necessary.

BNESIM does not offer an eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability for South America. All BNESIM eSIMs sold for South America are data‑only; the plans provide no local number and have no inbound or outbound voice or SMS services. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and messaging.

BNESIM offers two eSIM plans that cover South American destinations. The “Surf in South America for” plan includes Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela. The “Surf in Global per” plan also covers the same set of South American countries while providing additional coverage elsewhere.
