Travelers looking for larger data allowances can consider the 50GB plan for 30 days, priced at $80.99 USD, which covers Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and five additional countries, or the 20GB plan for 30 days at $27.00 USD, which covers Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most users, unless the traveler is an extremely heavy data consumer.

EtravelSIM does not provide a telephony‑enabled eSIM for Southeast Asia; all of its available plans are data‑only and do not include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need a number for calling or texting will need to rely on internet‑based services. Popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage work over the data connection and can be used for calls and messaging without a phone number or SMS feature.
