ChillaxSIM eSIM Data Plans for Sri Lanka

ChillaxSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Sri Lanka. The plans titled “Unlimited” actually allow 1 GB of high‑speed data per day; once that daily allowance is used the speed drops to 5120 kbps, so the data is capped.

Instead, ChillaxSIM offers fixed data plans that may be more suitable for travelers. For example, a 20 GB plan is available for 30 days, and there are also 10 GB plans for 15 or 30 days and 5 GB plans for 7 or 15 days. These plans also have a reduced speed of 128 kbps after the allotted data is consumed.

ChillaxSIM does not provide Sri Lanka eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s offering for Sri Lanka is limited to data‑only eSIMs with no inbound or outbound voice or text services.

Travelers who need to place calls or send messages can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection on a ChillaxSIM eSIM.

ChillaxSIM currently offers 29 single coverage data plans for Sri Lanka. These plans range in price from approximately $3.50 to $84.90 and include data allowances from 1GB to 20GB. Within these options, you’ll find both fixed data plans (providing a set amount of data for the plan’s duration) and daily data cap plans (offering a certain amount of data each day). Tethering is allowed on some plans, and reduced speeds may apply after a certain data usage threshold, either at 128kbps or 5120kbps.
