EtravelSIM eSIM Data Plans for Sri Lanka

EtravelSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Sri Lanka. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name give a fixed daily allowance of 4 GB; once that amount is used the speed is throttled to 128 kbps. Travelers who need more data can choose from the fixed‑data plans that are available, such as the 20 GB plan valid for 30 days or the 50 GB plan valid for 30 days, which offer larger data allowances without the speed reduction.

EtravelSIM sells Sri Lanka eSIMs that come with a phone number and an SMS capability. Plans range from 4 GB to 50 GB and are available for 30 days or 365 days, with prices between $10.99 and $109.99. The phone number has a dialing code of +44 on most plans and +33 on the Backpacker Belt 20 GB plan; calls can be received and made and SMS can be sent and received. If you need a local Sri Lanka number or specific call or text features, it is best to confirm the details directly with EtravelSIM.

EtravelSIM provides eight single‑country data plans for Sri Lanka. All of these plans are fixed data cap offerings, meaning the amount of data is set for the entire validity period rather than resetting daily. The plans vary in price from about $4.50 to $109.99 and in data cap from 1 GB up to 50 GB, with validity ranging from 7 days to a full year. There are no multi‑country plans available for Sri Lanka on this provider.
