Lotso Travel eSIM Data Plans for Sri Lanka

Lotso Travel does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for Sri Lanka. Every plan listed has a hard data allowance; a few are labeled “Unlimited” in the name, but after the specified amount is used the data speed drops to a low 384kbps or 128kbps throttled rate. Travelers who need a large data budget can opt for fixed data plans such as the Sri Lanka 50GB eSIM for 30 days, which delivers 50GB of full‑speed data, or the Sri Lanka 60GB Unlimited eSIM for 30 days, which provides 60GB of full‑speed data before throttling begins. These represent the largest fixed data options available for Sri Lanka.

Lotso Travel does not offer any Sri Lanka eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The only eSIMs available from this provider for Sri Lanka are data‑only plans. Travelers who need to make voice calls or send text messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should confirm that these services are accessible in Sri Lanka before making a purchase, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps or VoIP services.

Lotso Travel offers 40 single‑country plans and 52 multi‑country plans that include Sri Lanka. Prices for the plans range from $5.95 to $286.95, while data limits span from 500 MB to 50 GB over a validity period of 5–30 days. Of the available options, 44 plans apply a daily data cap, meaning the data can only be used up to a certain amount each day, whereas 48 plans provide a fixed data cap that can be consumed at any time during the validity period. Most plans allow tethering, and some include reduced‑speed options of 384, 128, or 5 000 bps in certain situations.
