Yaalo eSIM Data Plans for Uganda

Yaalo does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Uganda; all plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually offer a daily high‑speed allowance of 1GB or 2GB, after which the speed is reduced to 500kbps or 2000kbps respectively. Travelers who need a greater amount of high‑speed data can instead choose one of Yaalo’s fixed‑data plans, such as a 100GB eSIM for 180 days or a 50GB eSIM for 90 days, both of which provide full 5G/4G coverage in Uganda. These fixed plans offer higher data volumes and may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users compared to the daily “Unlimited” options.

Yaalo does not provide eSIM plans for Uganda that include a local phone number or SMS capability. All of the available Uganda eSIMs from Yaalo are data‑only and do not support inbound or outbound voice calls or text messaging.

Travelers who need to communicate while in Uganda can use internet‑based VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data plan, which work without a traditional phone number and SMS.
