Lotso Travel eSIM Data Plans for Zambia

Lotso Travel does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed eSIM for Zambia. Every plan listed has a fixed data allowance that can be used at full speed for a specified number of days; once that allowance is exhausted, traffic continues at a greatly reduced speed of either 128 kbps or 384 kbps. These are fixed data plans rather than unlimited ones.

Typical examples of such plans include the Africa 10GB Unlimited eSIM – which offers 2GB/day at full speed for 10 days and then continues at 128 kbps once the 10 GB top‑up is used, and the Global 5GB Unlimited eSIM – which gives 1GB/day at full speed for 5 days before throttling to 384 kbps after the 5 GB is consumed. These plans illustrate the fixed‑data‑plus‑throttling approach used by Lotso Travel in Zambia.

Lotso Travel does not provide eSIM plans for Zambia that include a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need voice or text services will need to rely on internet‑based VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. Since some destinations may block or restrict certain apps or VoIP services, it is advisable to confirm that the specific apps you require are accessible in Zambia before purchasing a plan.

Lotso Travel does not provide a single‑country data plan that is limited only to Zambia. All plans that include Zambia are part of the provider’s multi‑country catalogue, and there are 56 such options available. The multi‑country plans vary in price from roughly $21 to $377 and in data cap from 500 MB up to 50 GB. Within this set, some plans offer a fixed amount of data that can be used over the validity period, while others allocate a daily data allowance that resets each day.
