FootySIMs eSIM Data Plans for Australia

FootySIMs does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for travelers in Australia. The plans titled “Australia — Unlimited” actually contain a fixed data allowance of 1 GB per day; after this usage the speed is throttled to 512 kbps. This is the same for the 7‑day and 30‑day options.

Travelers who need a large amount of data can consider FootySIMs’ fixed data plans, such as the 1 GB for 7 days bundle. These fixed‑data options offer set amounts of high‑speed data without a daily limit, although they may provide a cheaper overall price for heavy users than any “unlimited”‑label plan.

FootySIMs does not provide an Australia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for travelers in Australia. Users who need voice or text services can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Australia before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps.

FootySIMs provides three single‑country plans for Australia and does not offer any multi‑country plans. Two of the plans are daily data cap options, meaning the data allowance resets each day within the validity period; the remaining plan is a fixed data cap, where the total 1 GB is available for the full validity term. Prices vary from roughly $2.47 to $47.66, with each plan offering a 1 GB data package for a validity of 7 to 30 days.
