Hungry eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Australia

Hungry eSIM does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Australia. All plans listed under the “Unlimited” category have a hard data cap that is reached every day, after which the speed is throttled to either 512 kbps, 384 kbps or 1 Mbps depending on the plan. The daily cap means the bundle is fully usable for one day and then the connection is limited.

Travelers who need more unrestricted data can choose from Hungry eSIM’s fixed data plans, such as a 50 GB bundle for 30 days or a 20 GB bundle for 30 days. These plans give a large data allowance over a set validity period without the daily throttling that applies to the unlimited‑label bundles. This option is generally more cost‑effective for most users unless an exceptionally heavy data user prefers a pay‑per‑day structure.

Hungry eSIM does not offer any Australian eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available. Travelers can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Australia before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict specific apps or VoIP services.

Hungry eSIM offers 12 single‑country plans and 32 multi‑country plans for Australia. The plans range in price from $2.07 to $179.36 and provide data caps between 500 MB and 50 GB, with validity periods from 1 to 365 days.
