Yatelo eSIM Data Plans for Australia

Yatelo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM plan for Australia. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name are actually fixed‑data offers with a 3GB high‑speed allowance; after the 3GB threshold the speed is throttled to 1 000 kbps.

Travelers who need more bandwidth can choose from Yatelo’s fixed data plans, such as the AUS 50GB 30 days plan for $22.15 USD or the AUS 20GB 30 days plan for $12.56 USD. These options give a larger data allowance and come at a fixed price, making them a more cost‑effective option for users who want consistent high‑speed internet during their stay in Australia.

Yatelo does not provide an Australia eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Their Australia eSIMs are available only as data‑only plans, so travelers cannot receive or send classic SMS messages or make traditional voice calls. You can still use internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, and other VoIP applications over the data connection, but some destinations may block or limit access to certain apps, so it’s advisable to confirm that the messaging or calling apps you rely on are accessible in Australia before purchasing.

Yatelo offers 13 single‑country data plans for Australia and 16 multi‑country plans that include Australia. The plans cover a price range of $1.54 to $54.02 and data caps from 1 GB to 50 GB, with validity periods between 3 and 30 days. Some plans allow tethering with a reduced speed of 1 Gbps, while others provide a fixed data amount for the entire validity period.
