Globie eSIM Data Plans for Botswana

Globie does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Botswana. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually give 3 GB per day and slow the connection to 1000 kbps once that daily limit is reached. Travelers looking for more data without a daily cap can choose fixed data plans such as the Botswana 20 GB for 30 days plan or the Global 20 GB for 30 days plan, each giving a single high‑speed data allowance for the full validity period.

Globie does not provide Botswana eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS service. Only data‑only packages are available from this provider. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may restrict access to particular apps. It is advisable to verify that the preferred VoIP services work in Botswana before purchasing a Globie eSIM.

Globie lists 11 single‑country data plans that include Botswana, and an additional 8 multi‑country plans that cover the country. The single‑country selections vary from 1 GB to 20 GB of data and are priced between $9.49 and $913.99, depending on the data amount and validity period. The multi‑country packages offer a similar data cap range but provide coverage across multiple destinations, and the prices remain within the same overall range. Of the available options, 6 plans feature a daily data cap for short‑duration use, while 13 are fixed‑data plans that deliver a set amount of data for the entire validity period. This gives customers flexibility whether they prefer a one‑time data burst or a steady data allowance for a longer stay.
