I tried to use it on an Infinix Smart 8 and it's not compatible, then on a Samsung A34 and still not compatible. I recommend expanding the list of models with access to eSIM so it can be more widely used

Worked at Varadero airport then in Havana no issues. Be patient Cuba's network isn't the best

Bought an e-sim to use in Cuba but it doesn’t work. After connecring to a wifi to install it i get a message thaf the QR code i received ia not valid. The app also does not seem to work here. Be careful!

Writing this with review in Nov 2024, using GlobaleSIM on my iPhone. After successfully testing Gigsky I went with the cheapest price/GB. It worked well in the cities I visited: Baracoa, ImÃas, San Antonio, Guantánamo.
I noticed two differences, which indicate having both eSIMs improved my connectivity:
1. The phone shows 4G (GlobaleSIM) instead of LTE (Gigsky).
2. In one remote area with no GlobaleSIM connection I still had network with Gigsky.
In my case the payment via Paypal got stuck, but I assume this was a one-off. The GlobaleSIM support was super friendly and helpful during the extra week this took.

Writing this review in Nov 2024 using a GigSky esim on my iPhone. It has worked well in Guantánamo, ImÃas, and right now in Baracoa. After changing my location I often have to enable/disable Flight Mode to get a working internet connection (LTE symbol). This might be a quirk of the cuban cellular network.

Worst eSim we've ever used and we have travelled a lot and used many different eSims around the world. This was a complete waste of money. Even thought we seemed to be connected to LTE most of the time we couldn't actually download anything, send messages, or surf the web at all.
We couldn't even download the mandatory update to the GigSky app because the connection didn't actually work.
There are over 20 travel eSIM providers and more than 150 prepaid data plans available for Cuba. While the options are somewhat limited, travelers can still choose a plan that matches their needs.
Yes, an unlimited data eSIM for Cuba is available. Yesim offers a 1‑day plan that allows unlimited data usage price of $23.25 USD. The plan is available on 3G and LTE networks and permits tethering, although speed may be throttled under certain conditions.
Cuba does not have Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs); therefore, all mobile services are provided directly by ETECSA.
Travel eSIM plans that include a phone number and SMS capability are available for Cuba. GlobaleSIM offers several data packages (1 GB to 15 GB) that give a local phone number with dialing code +1, enable inbound and outbound voice calls, and allow incoming SMS; they do not support sending SMS. Roamify provides a 1 GB plan with 10 minutes of voice and 50 SMS, using the foreign dialing code +33; this plan supports both inbound and outbound voice and SMS.
The price of these plans starts around $12 USD for a 1 GB 7‑day package and scales with data and validity. GlobaleSIM offers validity periods from 7 to 30 days, while Roamify’s plan is valid for 30 days. Both providers allow tethering where noted, and the data caps range from 1 GB to 15 GB depending on the chosen plan.
