nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Cuba

No, nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Cuba. Every plan that carries the word “Unlimited” in its title still has a hard data cap. For example, the eSIM Cuba Unlimited 1Days Standard plan contains 1GB of high‑speed data before it is throttled to 512kbps, and the eSIM Cuba Unlimited Plus 1Days Standard offers 2GB before its speed drops to 2000kbps.

Travellers who need more data at a fixed price can choose one of nextSIM’s fixed data plans. The eSIM Cuba 20GB 30Days Standard gives 20GB of high‑speed data for 30 days, and the eSIM GLOBAL 50GB 30Days Premium allows 50GB of high‑speed data for the same period. These plans avoid the speed reduction that applies after an “Unlimited” plan’s allotted data is used.

nextSIM does not offer any eSIM plans for Cuba that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only supplies data‑only eSIMs, so travelers cannot receive or make standard voice calls or text messages through the local network. However, data connectivity can be used with popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for communication. Travelers should verify that the VoIP services they rely on are accessible in Cuba before purchasing a plan.

nextSIM offers 20 single‑country plans and 26 multi‑country plans that cover Cuba; these plans range in price from about $20.65 to $1, 261.66 and provide data caps from 1 GB up to 50 GB (availability varies by validity period). The single‑country options focus on a fixed data amount for a set duration, while the multi‑country packages usually bundle data for several destinations, allowing a lower per‑GB cost or broader coverage across the Caribbean.
