The SIM Shop eSIM Data Plans for DR Congo

The SIM Shop does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The plans available in DR Congo are fixed‑data bundles, with the largest options being 20GB for 30 days and 10GB for 30 days. The 20GB 30‑day plan costs $67.34 USD, while the 10GB 30‑day plan costs $36.78 USD. An additional global option offers 20GB for 90 days at $111.09 USD, which also includes coverage in DR Congo along with many other countries. Because these plans have a set data cap, they are generally more cost‑effective for most travelers unless a user’s consumption exceeds the available allowance, in which case a pay‑as‑you‑go alternative might be required.

The SIM Shop does not offer an eSIM for DR Congo that includes a phone number or SMS capability; its plans for this destination are strictly data‑only. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may restrict access to these services, so it is advisable to verify that the required apps work in DR Congo before purchasing a plan.

The SIM Shop offers a total of 5 single‑country data plans and 19 multi‑country plans for DR Congo. The provider provides both fixed data amount plans, which give a set amount of data for the entire validity period, and daily data cap plans, which reset the data allowance each day. Across all plans, the price range spans from $6.37 to $132.42, while the data caps vary from 1 GB to 20 GB, with validity periods ranging from 1 to 90 days.
