Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Faroe Islands

Kolet does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Faroe Islands. All plans labeled “UNLIMITED” give 5GB of high‑speed data per day and then throttle to 1 000 kbps, so the traffic is still limited. This is a fixed data plan rather than an unlimited one.

If you need more data without the speed reduction, Kolet offers fixed‑data options such as the 20 GB for 30 days plan and the 10 GB for 30 days plan, which provide higher total data allowances for the same validity period.

Kolet does not provide any Faroe Islands eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only obtain a data‑only eSIM from Kolet for the Faroe Islands. They can still use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging, but Kolet’s plans do not supply a local phone number or native SMS service. Visitors should verify that the VoIP applications they intend to use are accessible in the Faroe Islands before purchasing.

Kolet provides 13 single‑country plans and 18 multi‑country plans for the Faroe Islands. Plans range from about $3.99 to $104.40 and offer data caps between 1 GB and 20 GB. Some of these plans are fixed‑data, giving a set amount of data for the entire validity period, while others use a daily data cap that resets each day for a more flexible usage pattern.
