Mi eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Gabon

Mi eSIM does not provide a plan that truly offers unlimited high‑speed data in Gabon. While some plans have “Unlimited” in their marketing name, the table shows that each has a specific data cap: the daily “Unlimited” plans give 1 GB per day, and the larger bundles offer 10 GB or 20 GB for a set number of days. After the allowed data is used, speed is reduced to 512 kbps.

Instead, travellers can choose fixed‑data plans that give a larger allowance for a defined period. For example, Mi eSIM offers a 20 GB bundle for 15 days or a 10 GB bundle for 7 days in Gabon, both at 5G coverage. These plans give higher data to users who need substantial usage and may be more cost‑effective than repeatedly buying a 1 GB daily bundle.

Mi eSIM does not offer any eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability for Gabon. Travelers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs from this provider. However, VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can typically be used over the data connection for voice and messaging. Some destinations may block or restrict certain applications, so it is advisable to confirm that the specific VoIP services you rely on are accessible in Gabon before purchasing an eSIM.

Mi eSIM provides 19 single‑country plans and 19 multi‑country plans for Gabon. The offerings include both daily data cap plans, which release a set amount of data each day, and fixed data cap plans that grant a total data allowance for the entire validity period. Prices vary from about $10.75 to $188.24, with data limits ranging from 1 GB to 20 GB, and validity periods from 1 to 30 days.
