abesteSIM eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

No. Every abesteSIM plan that lists “Unlimited” in its name actually applies a daily or total data cap—here the Africa 21 Countries Unlimited Data eSIMs give 1GB per day and throttle speed to 5000 kbps after reaching the limit. The plans that provide the largest amounts of high‑speed data are the fixed data plans, for example the eSIM Africa (21 Countries) plan that offers a total of 50GB for 3 days, 5 days, or 7 days at 5 G coverage in Kenya. These fixed plans give a high data allowance and avoid the speed reduction that occurs with the “Unlimited” name plans, making them a more straightforward choice for travelers needing substantial data in Kenya.

abesteSIM does not sell a Kenya eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only plans for Kenya.

Travelers who need to make voice calls or send text messages while in Kenya can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to particular apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the communication tools you rely on are available in Kenya before purchasing a plan.

abesteSIM provides 26 single‑country data plans that cover Kenya and 268 multi‑country plans that include Kenya. The provider offers both fixed data‑cap plans—from 500 MB up to 30 GB—and daily data‑cap plans, ranging from 500 MB up to 50 GB. Prices for these Kenya‑focused plans span roughly $0.55 to $244.85, giving travelers a wide spectrum of options based on cost, data quantity and validity period.
