AirPlans eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

AirPlans does not provide a true unlimited high‑speed data plan for Kenya. All of its Kenya‑specific offers have a fixed data cap, such as the Kenya 100GB 30 days plan or the Kenya 50GB 30 days plan, and the “Unlimited” named options actually provide 1 GB of data (or 1 GB per day) with speed throttling after that quota is used. Travelers who need more data can choose one of the large fixed‑data options, which may be more cost‑effective for heavy usage.

AirPlans does not provide a Kenya eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need voice or text services will need to rely on data‑only plans and use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. Some destinations may restrict access to certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are available in Kenya before purchasing a plan.

AirPlans offers 24 single‑country data plans and 26 multi‑country data plans that include Kenya. The plans generally cost between about $2.43 and $352.80 and provide data caps from 500 MB up to 100 GB. Some plans use a daily data‑cap model—where a set amount of data is refreshed each day during the validity period—while others use a fixed‑data‑cap model that allocates the entire data allowance for the whole validity span.
