Amigo eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

Amigo eSIM does not currently provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Kenya.

Travelers can instead choose from several fixed data packages that offer high data allowances, such as the Kenya 10GB 30Days plan and the Kenya 5GB 14Days plan. Both packages allow tethering and provide 5G coverage within Kenya. Selecting a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for users who need significant data consumption but do not require unlimited usage.

Amigo eSIM does not offer a phone number or SMS capability on its Kenya eSIM plans. The provider only supplies data‑only plans for that destination. Travelers who need a local contact number or the ability to send SMS messages will have to use alternative services.

VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can usually be accessed via the data connection to make calls and send messages without a phone number or SMS ability. However, some destinations may block or restrict specific VoIP services, so users should confirm that the apps they rely on are available in Kenya before purchasing an eSIM.

Amigo eSIM currently offers three single-coverage data plans specifically for Kenya, providing options ranging from 1GB to 10GB of data with validity periods between 14 and 30 days. Additionally, they have two multi-country plans that include Kenya as part of their coverage, offering broader regional connectivity. Prices for these plans generally fall between $26.00 and $60.00. Some plans also permit tethering.
