CloudOn eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

CloudOn eSIM does not currently provide a true unlimited high‑speed data plan for Kenya.
The plans labeled “unlimited” (for example Kenya_3DAYs_unlimited, Kenya_5DAYs_unlimited, Kenya_7DAYs_unlimited, Africa_3DAYs_unlimited, Kenya_10DAYs_unlimited, Kenya_15DAYs_unlimited) actually supply 2 GB per day at high speed and then throttle traffic to 1 Mbps.

If a traveler needs a larger data allowance, CloudOn eSIM offers fixed‑data plans that might be more cost‑effective, such as the 50 GB for 30 days or the 20 GB for 30 days, which keep the full high‑speed rate for the entire validity period.

CloudOn eSIM does not provide eSIM plans for Kenya that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers seeking a data connection can purchase a data‑only eSIM plan from CloudOn eSIM, and can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data link for voice and messaging. However, some destinations may block or limit access to certain VoIP services, so users should verify that the apps they need work in Kenya before buying a plan.

CloudOn eSIM offers 11 single‑country data plans for Kenya and 7 multi‑country plans that include Kenya in their coverage. These plans span a price range of roughly $6.99 to $179.49 and provide data caps between 1 GB and 50 GB, with validity periods from 3 to 30 days. Customers can choose from daily data‑cap options that reset each day or fixed data‑cap packages that remain consistent throughout the validity period, allowing flexibility to match short‑term travel bursts or longer stays.
