MTX Connect eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

MTX Connect does not offer an unlimited data eSIM plan for Kenya. The provider’s Kenya portfolio consists of fixed data packages, the largest of which is 10 GB for 30 days, priced at $34.81 USD, followed by 4 GB for 14 days and 2 GB for 7 days. An additional 350 MB Daily option is available for one day at $4.05 USD.

If you are not an extremely heavy data user, selecting one of these fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective than an unlimited option. The 10 GB plan, for example, gives you a generous data allowance for a full month and covers Kenya as well as many other countries.

MTX Connect currently does not provide an eSIM for Kenya that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are offered from the provider, so travelers cannot receive an inbound or outbound call number or send text messages over the local network. However, they can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over a data connection for calling and messaging.

For Kenya, MTX Connect offers four multi‑country data plans. These plans range in price from $4.05 to $34.81 and provide data caps between 350 MB and 10 GB, with validity periods from one to thirty days.
