Roamic eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

Roamic does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Kenya. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually offer a fixed amount of high‑speed data—3 GB per day for the various day‑based options—and after that amount the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. For travelers who need more data, Roamic offers fixed data plans such as 20 GB for 30 days at $69.00 USD or 10 GB for 30 days at $38.00 USD, which can be more cost‑effective for most users.

Roamic does not provide an eSIM plan for Kenya that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only eSIMs from Roamic for Kenya. If a phone number or SMS service is required, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Kenya before purchasing.

Roamic offers a total of 16 data plans that cover Kenya, split between 13 single‑country plans and 3 multi‑country plans. The single‑country plans range in price from roughly $5.00 to $60.00 and provide data caps from 1 GB up to 8 GB, while the multi‑country plans are priced between about $60.00 and $193.00 and offer data caps of 10 GB to 20 GB. The single‑country options are fixed‑data plans giving a set amount of data for the validity period. The multi‑country plans are also fixed‑data but allow the data to be used across several countries within Africa, giving travelers more flexibility when moving between destinations.
