Stixrs eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

Stixrs does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for Kenya. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their title actually provide a high‑speed data allowance of 3GB per day; once that daily limit is reached the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. Because the data cap is a hard limit, the plan is not an unlimited bundle.

Alternative fixed‑data plans are available. For instance, the Kenya Standard data eSIM 50 GB 90 days provides 50 GB over a 90‑day period, and the Kenya Standard data eSIM 20 GB 30 days gives 20 GB for 30 days. These fixed‑data options generally offer more cost‑effective usage for travelers who require a substantial amount of high‑speed data without the daily cap and speed reduction that the “Unlimited”‑named plans impose.

Stixrs does not offer an eSIM plan for Kenya that includes a phone number or SMS capability.
Only data‑only eSIMs are available from Stixrs for Kenya; travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages. However, some destinations may block or restrict certain apps or VoIP services, so it is advisable to confirm that the applications needed for communication are accessible in Kenya before purchasing a plan.

Stixrs offers 10 single‑country plans that cover Kenya and 5 multi‑country plans that include Kenya among their destinations. All of the plans are priced between $4.50 and $152 and provide from 1 GB to 50 GB of data over a validity of 3 to 90 days. The provider supplies both fixed‑cap plans, where a set amount of data is available for the entire validity period, and daily‑cap plans, which limit the amount of data that can be used each day.
