Truely eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

Truely does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Kenya. The available options are fixed data plans that specify a hard data cap and a validity period. For example, Truely offers a 20GB plan that is usable for 30 days, a 20GB plan with no expiry, a 10GB plan for 30 days, and a 10GB plan with no expiry. These plans are fixed data plans, meaning the data allowance is limited to the stated amount and must be used within the specified validity window or until the data is exhausted.

Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer who would require a truly unlimited data solution.

Truely does not provide eSIM plans for Kenya that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available, and travelers can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging, though some destinations may block or restrict these services, so it is advisable to verify app availability in Kenya before purchasing.

Truely offers nine single‑country data plans for Kenya and eight multi‑country plans that include Kenya. Prices range from $3.69 to $119.99, with data caps between 300 MB and 20 GB. The single‑country plans provide a fixed data amount for a 30‑day validity, while the multi‑country plans also offer a fixed data amount but cover several destinations, allowing the same data to be used across multiple countries. Tethering is allowed on some plans.
