Yesim eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

Yesim offers unlimited data eSIM plans for Kenya, with prices ranging from $7.88 USD for a 1‑day plan to $135.05 USD for a 30‑day plan. All of these plans allow tethering and note that speed may be throttled after heavy usage.

Because the plans are marked as unlimited, a Fair Usage Policy may apply, meaning that speeds can be reduced after a certain amount of data is used at normal speed. Travelers who are concerned about potential speed restrictions should contact Yesim directly to confirm whether a Fair Usage Policy applies and to learn the typical amount of data that can be used at full speed.

Yesim does not provide any Kenya eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All of Yesim’s services for Kenya are data‑only, so users will not receive a local NOKIA‑based number that can make calls or send text messages directly.

Travelers who need voice or messaging services can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, availability of these apps can vary by region, and some destinations may block or limit access to particular services, so users should confirm that the applications they rely on are accessible in Kenya before purchasing a Yesim eSIM.

Yesim offers 13 single‑country data plans that apply to Kenya and an additional 11 multi‑country plans that include Kenya in their coverage. The plans range in price from about $5.69 to $136.51 and in data allowance from a single gigabyte up to unlimited data. Some plans bundle a fixed data amount for the entire validity, whereas others provide a daily data cap that resets each day; both types are available, giving customers flexibility either for short‑term usage or longer stays.
