Zwitchy eSIM Data Plans for Kenya

No, Zwitchy does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Kenya. All plans listed under the “Unlimited” name contain a fixed data allowance—one gigabyte per day for each plan—after which speed is reduced to 1000 kbps, so they are not truly unlimited.

Travelers looking for large data volumes can choose from Zwitchy’s fixed data plans, for example a 30 GB bundle for 30 days priced at $95 USD or a 20 GB bundle for 30 days costing $65.50 USD. These plans offer a substantial amount of high‑speed data and can be more cost‑effective than the “Unlimited” options for most users.

Zwitchy does not provide any Kenya eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. All available Kenya eSIMs from the provider are data‑only options.

Travelers who need voice or text communication can use internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict certain VoIP services, so it is advisable to check that the apps you rely on work in Kenya before purchasing.

Zwitchy offers 14 single‑country plans that cover Kenya alone and 27 multi‑country plans that include Kenya as part of a broader bundle. Prices run from roughly $5.00 to $191.50, with data caps ranging between 1 GB and 30 GB. Some of the packages provide a fixed data amount for the entire validity period, while others feature a daily data cap that resets each day, giving travelers flexibility depending on how they plan to use data during their stay.
