Lumbus eSIM Data Plans for Kosovo

Lumbus does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Kosovo. The only plan with the word “Unlimited” in its name is the Kosovo Unlimited plan, which gives 3 GB per day and reduces speed to 1000 kbps once that daily allowance is reached; the plan still has a fixed validity of 3, 7, 14 or 30 days. Operators looking for larger amounts of high‑speed data may choose a fixed‑data plan such as the 20 GB for 30 days plan or the 10 GB for 30 days plan. These fixed data plans tend to be more cost‑effective for most travelers, unless one needs constant high‑speed access beyond the specified data limits.

Lumbus does not offer an eSIM with a phone number or SMS capability for travel to Kosovo; the provider’s Kosovo plans are data‑only. Travelers looking for call and messaging functions will need to rely on VoIP or messaging applications that use the data connection. Popular apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can generally be used for calls and messages when connected to the data plan, although some destinations may block or restrict particular services. It is advisable to confirm that the specific apps you depend on are accessible in Kosovo before purchasing a plan.

Lumbus offers four single‑country data plans that are available exclusively for Kosovo, and it also offers a range of multi‑country plans that include Kosovo as one of the covered destinations. The single‑country plans are priced between about $9.99 and $332.99 and provide data caps from 1 GB to 20 GB, depending on the specific plan (fixed data cap or daily data cap). The multi‑country plans share the same overall price and data ranges but bundle Kosovo with other countries. Fixed data cap plans give a set amount of data for the entire validity period, while daily data cap plans grant a certain amount of data each day throughout the plan’s life. Overall, consumers can choose between a total of 4 single‑country options or 13 multi‑country options when selecting a Lumbus eSIM for Kosovo.
