On the website they have misleading informations, for the package that I have purchased - 15 Days Unlimited Data Europe, on the same page it says it supports Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, and also this countries are missing from the list of supported countries with flags.. I contacted support and they explicitly confirmed that it works there.
Once I reached the Hungary, I had no data, because my eSIM could connect only to 2G networks. I reached the support again but they told me that my eSIM is blocked due to misuse. But how can I connect with it to 2G then?! They didn't told me what was the misuse.
I asked for refund but they closed the chat thread, since I got the answer, but no service and for my work more importantly no internet.

It does what it says on the tin. Good for messaging only, even pictures could be hard to transfer.
Websites are throttled down heavily so finding out about timetables can be an issue.
It's only good for those who can plan well ahead (offline maps, saved timetables etc.) and think about it like bridge between two WiFi hotspots.
Piecewise unbeatable though.
There are more than 110 travel eSIM brands available in Hungary, along with over 6, 000 prepaid data plans.
With such a wide variety of options, travelers can easily find an eSIM that suits their needs.
Unlimited data eSIM plans are available for travelers heading to Hungary. Providers that offer such plans include Firsty, Yoho Mobile, Roamify, MicroEsim, Billion Connect, abesteSIM, Truely, Yesim and FairPlay. Many of these plans come with speed throttling; Firsty limits speeds to 256 kbps, Yoho Mobile and abesteSIM cap speeds at 5 Mbps, while other operators note that speeds may be throttled without specifying a strict limit. Plan validity typically ranges from one day up to ten or fifteen days, and prices span from a free offering at Firsty to about $28.64 USD for a ten‑day period with Yoho Mobile. Travelers can choose a provider that matches their desired data volume, speed expectations and budget.
In Hungary, the primary Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) providing infrastructure for travel eSIMs are:
Magyar Telekom: The largest telecommunications company in Hungary, offering extensive 4G/LTE coverage and advanced 5G services.
Yettel: Formerly known as Telenor, Yettel provides comprehensive 4G/LTE and expanding 5G services across the country.
One: Previously operating as Vodafone Hungary, One delivers widespread 4G/LTE coverage and is actively developing its 5G network.
Additionally, Hungary hosts several Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs), such as Digi Mobil and Lycamobile. These MVNOs lease network access from the major carriers to offer their own mobile services. However, it's important to note that most travel eSIMs rely on the infrastructure of the primary MNOs rather than MVNOs.
Travel eSIM plans in Hungary that include a phone number and SMS are offered by several providers. GlobaleSIM supplies plans with a mobile number that has the dialing code +1, provides inbound and outbound voice, and inbound SMS only; the numbers are not local Hungary numbers. Roamify’s Hungary‑specific eSIMs, conversely, use the dialing code +33, support inbound and outbound voice and SMS, and also use a foreign dialing code rather than a Hungarian one.
Prices for GlobaleSIM’s Hungary plans start at about $4 for 1 GB and go up to roughly $12 for 20 GB, with validity from 7 to 30 days. Roamify’s Hungary eSIMs range from about $15 for 15 GB up to roughly $50 for 100 GB, all with a 30‑day validity period. These plans give you a usable phone number and SMS capability, though the numbers themselves are not local to Hungary.
