Roamic eSIM Data Plans for Mauritius

Roamic does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for Mauritius. The plans that carry the label “Unlimited” only give 3GB of high‑speed data per validity period and reduce the speed to 1000 kbps once that amount is reached, so they are not unlimited in the sense of offering data without a ceiling. Travelers who need more data can choose fixed‑data plans instead. For example, Roamic offers a 20GB bundle for 30 days at US $70.00 or a 10GB bundle for 30 days at US $36.00, along with smaller fixed plans such as 5GB for 21 days or 3GB for 14 days, each of which can be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Roamic does not offer an eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability in Mauritius. Travelers who purchase a Roamic eSIM for Mauritius will only receive high‑speed data and can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for voice and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to certain VoIP services, so travelers should verify that the apps they need are accessible in Mauritius before purchasing.

Roamic currently lists thirteen single‑country plans for Mauritius, with no multi‑country options available. The plans are divided into two main types: seven daily data cap plans, which reset each day and are useful for short stays, and six fixed data cap plans that provide a set amount of data for a consistent duration. Across the board, prices range from about $6 to $243 and data caps vary from 1 GB up to 20 GB.
