ROWM eSIM Data Plans for Mauritius

ROWM does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Mauritius. All of the Mauritius‑specific and global plans listed by the provider have a fixed data cap, ranging from 5GB to 50GB, with a validity period of 15 to 30 days.

Travelers who want a larger data allowance can choose one of ROWM’s fixed‑data plans. For example, the Global 50GB 30D plan offers 50GB for 30 days, and the Mauritius 10GB 30D plan gives 10GB for 30 days. These plans are fixed data bundles, so they are usually more cost‑effective unless the traveler needs an extremely high volume of data.

ROWM does not provide Mauritius eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are offered by ROWM for Mauritius.

Travelers can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging. However, some destinations may block or restrict access to specific apps or VoIP services, so travelers should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in Mauritius before purchasing.

For Mauritius, ROWM offers a total of ten plans that can be used, broken down into single‑country and multi‑country options. Four of those plans are designed specifically for Mauritius only, while an additional six plans cover Mauritius as part of broader regional packs. All plans come in a fixed‑data format, offering quantities from approximately 1 GB up to 50 GB, with prices ranging from about $10 to $100 and validity between seven and thirty days. Tethering is permitted on selected plans.
