Tourist eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Mauritius

Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Mauritius. The plans that carry the label “Unlimited Data” actually give a high‑speed allowance of 2 GB per day (or 3 GB per day for the 10‑day option) and then reduce the speed to 2000 kbps (or 1000 kbps) once that daily allowance is used.

Instead, Tourist eSIM offers fixed data plans with large allowances that can be more cost‑effective for most travelers. Examples include a 30 GB plan valid for 30 days, a 20 GB plan also valid for 30 days, an 80 GB plan valid for 365 days, and a 40 GB plan valid for 180 days. These fixed data plans are available for Mauritius and can suit users who need substantial data without the daily speed reduction that comes with the “Unlimited Data” plans.

Tourist eSIM does not offer a Mauritius eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for travelers heading to Mauritius. Users can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging; however, these services may be limited or blocked in some destinations, so travelers are encouraged to confirm that the apps they rely on are accessible in Mauritius before purchasing.

Tourist eSIM provides a range of plans that include Mauritius. For one‑country coverage there are 18 single‑coverage options, while Mauritius is also included in 40 multi‑country bundles. Available data caps run from 1 GB up to 80 GB, with prices spanning roughly $4.20 to $170.05. Plans are offered in two formats: daily‑capped packages that reset each day and fixed data packages that provide a set amount of data for the entire validity period. This gives travelers a broad set of options to choose from when visiting Mauritius.
