Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Nepal

Airalo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Nepal. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name give 3 GB of high‑speed data per day and then throttle the speed to 1000 kbps after that daily limit is reached, so the data is still capped.

Travelers who need more data can choose from Airalo’s fixed data plans. For example, a 20 GB plan is available for 15 days at $35 USD or for 30 days at $36 USD, and a 10 GB plan is offered for 7 days at $22 USD or for 30 days at $24 USD. These plans provide a larger data allowance without the daily speed reduction, making them a more cost‑effective option for most users unless they require very high data usage.

Airalo does not sell a Nepal eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The only eSIM plans available for Nepal are data‑only plans, meaning they provide internet access but no outbound or inbound voice or text services. Travelers who need to keep in touch can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or limit access to these services, so users should confirm that the app they rely on works in Nepal before purchasing a plan.

Airalo has 17 single‑country data plans for Nepal, all priced between $5.00 and $99.00 and offering data caps from 1 GB to 20 GB. The catalog includes six daily‑data‑cap plans, which reset each day, and eleven fixed‑data‑cap plans that deliver a set amount of data for the plan’s validity period.
